How restaurants are added
Each restaurant profile will include the exact address, official website, an original description, its geographic label, current operating status, the source we used, and the date we last checked it. We do not publish ratings, reviews, menus, or prices. Restaurants open, close, and change hours often, so profiles are rechecked on a schedule and removed promptly when a business closes.
Many residents eat close to home along NC-16 and NC-73, and plenty also drive to restaurants elsewhere around the lake. We label those across-the-lake picks so the drive time is never a surprise.
Suggest a restaurant
If you have a favorite west-shore restaurant, tell us through the contact page. Include the name and address. We'll verify it independently before it appears.

- Why aren't there restaurant listings yet?
- Each listing must be verified for address, status, and official website before it appears. Profiles publish as they pass review.

- No. Profiles include original descriptions only.
