If we got something wrong, tell us.
How corrections work
Submit the page and the issue. We review against sources and note material corrections on the page.
What to include
Tell us the page address, what you believe is wrong, and, if possible, a source we can check, such as a county record, an official agency page, or a recorded document. We review every request against sources. Material corrections are noted on the page with the date of the change. We do not publish personal information from correction requests.
Response time
We aim to review correction requests promptly. Requests about safety-related information, such as access, closures, or water conditions, are prioritized. If a correction depends on a recorded document we cannot obtain, we will mark the detail as Not verified until it can be confirmed, rather than leaving a possibly wrong statement in place.
Questions
- Will you tell me when a correction is made?
- If you include an email address, we can let you know the outcome. Material corrections are also noted on the page itself.
- Can I correct information about my own business?
- Yes. Send the change with a link to your official website or another source we can verify.
